We have also changed our milk buyer recently, so if we keep SCC below 201 on a rolling 12 month, so on average we gain 0.3 ppl that equates to £3500 extra income.
In the last year we have seen 50% less cases of mastitis, which is another big saving. I believe that using SOP C COW will save us up to £15,000 in the year. We will definitely be using SOP C COW again this coming winter."
